EPISODE 48 -49 Deepak is OUT

Day 49

Ragini had tears in her eyes. Roopali was shocked and Ravi looked quite relieved when Baba declared that Deepak was evicted from the house. Deepak was silent for a moment and then sprang up to his feet to hug Rahul and Ravi. He tried hard to look relaxed, but we could make out the shock on his face. He took Ragini aside and spoke to her; the girl cried uncontrollably. Next, Deepak left the house with his red bag, waving at everybody. At the door he looked back and shouted, “Zindagi chandwa, phirbi ghamandwa.” Everybody waved back at him.

Deepak entered the stage dancing to the Bigg Boss tune. He kissed his daughter and son who had come all the way to see their papa. Arshad hugged him and they sat down for a small chat. Deepak told Arshad that Roopali was the cleverest of all the housemates. She was playing the game by using her tears and bharatiya nari image. Actually it was an extremely shrewd strategy.

About Rahul, he said that he had misunderstood Rahul and was sorry for that. Rahul was actually trying to play the game by keeping emotionally detached from everybody. Everybody had started calling him ‘baba’ and somehow he had started behaving like an old man. Deepak had never seen him behave like that before and that was why he had got angry. But he patched up with Rahul as soon as he realised his mistake.

Deepak will be missed in a Bigg way: Deepak Tijori had just entered the house a few weeks back. It seemed that he was going out too soon. But then if the audience wanted him to go then he does not have a choice. This 44-year-old actor-director entered the house as a replacement for Salil Ankola, who had to leave the show because of some contract problems. Deepak proved himself to be a great ringleader; he even managed to sideline Rahul by instigating everybody against him.

He and Anupama were best buddies after Aryan was evicted. He stood beside her throughout and even tried to form a ‘morcha’ against Rahul, whom he claimed was responsible for Aryan’s eviction. We even heard him saying “Rahul is responsible for turning Anupama into a vidhwa.” He called Carol the 'ajgar’. For the last few days Deepak was in a bad mood. He even fought with Carol over a trivial issue and cried.

A bite of bitter cake for Deepak: It was a nail biting moment in the house as all the contestants sat together before TV and Arshad spoke to them one by one. He asked Rahul to name a person who had changed the most in the house. Rahul said that it was Rakhi. Rakhi had come back a totally different person and she had changed for good. Arshad congratulated Roopali for all the ‘behuda’ awards she had received and Roopali made a face at him. Amit said that he was cool about receiving the Badtameez Gharwala award. Baba Sehgal, the rapper, did a number for Bigg Boss and everybody applauded him.

In the end, Arshad told them that before declaring the name, he wanted to throw a party for the contestants. Carol was asked to go into the confession room and collect a special cake baked for the housemates. Carol came back with the cake and started cutting it. But yeh kya? There was an envelope inside the cake. She took it out and handed it over to Baba. We could almost hear the heartbeats getting faster.

Roopali doesn’t want to face her parents: Rakhi and Roopali were sitting on the veranda. Roopali looked very upset about the awards ceremony yesterday and Rakhi was consoling her. Roopali went to the extent of saying that she wanted to commit suicide because she didn’t want to face her parents after all this. She said that she didn't know how to speak chikni-chupdi baatein and she did not lie. She simply couldn't understand why everybody had voted her as jhootha and chikni-chupdi. Rakhi asked her to face the housemates and stand up for herself.

Deepak wanted Roopali to be evicted: Par yeh kya ho gaya Deepak? Aap hi bahar ho gaye! We caught Deepak, Ragini and Amit talking against Roopali earlier in the morning. Deepak said that it was time Roopali went out of the house. Ragini blurted out that she was the one who was the real jhoothi and she blamed others for the same. How mean! Amit agreed with them and later, in the confession room, Deepak told Bigg Boss that Roopali received all the awards because she deserved them.




Day 48

At 1 p.m. Rakhi was called into the confession room. Was it about another task? Yes, but this was not just any other task, but an Awards function that had to be organised. Poor Rakhi, whose Hindi is not very good, couldn't read out the rules and was quite upset about it.

Anyway, everybody was quite enthusiastic about the Awards’ Night. Baba was the host of the evening and he read out the list of award categories. The award categories were quite funny. It included Khoobsorat Gharwala, Badtameez Gharwala, Lalchi Gharwala, Badbudaar Gharwala, Jhootha Gharwala, Chugalkhor Gharwala and so on. Everybody sat together to nominate the candidates for the different award categories.

Roopali gets the maximum nominations: It was time to select the nominees. Some skeletons came out of the cupboard as they started discussing who would be nominated for each category. The nominations for Rondumal Gharwala went to Roopali, Ragini and Carol. For Badtameez Gharwala it was none other than Amit, Ravi and Deepak. For Mehnati Gharwala it was Amit, Carol and Roopali. For Lalchi Gharwala Roopali, Rakhi and Carol were the nominees. Baba, Ravi and Rahul were nominated for Badbudar Gharwala. Saaf Suthra Gharwala award nominations went to Rahul, Carol and Amit. For Pyari Muskaan Gharwala the nominees were Ragini, Deepak and Carol. And for Chugalkhor Gharwala? The nominations included Deepak, Roopali and Ravi.

Ragini unsheathes her claws: Everybody stood silent as Ragini burst out, "Yes I lied about my mother for the game, but everybody else is lying in the house. No one is nominating them for that?" What had happened to make this sweet girl burst out like that? Well, for the nomination of Jhootha Gharwala, Roopali suggested Ragini’s name. Ragini began crying, while Roopali sat silently. Carol consoled Ragini and asked her to calm down. In the end, an upset Roopali asked Baba to write another name among the Jhootha Gharwala nominees. Baba quietly wrote her name on the black board.

Voting ritual in the confession room: At 5:40 p.m., Bigg Boss asked everybody to vote for the respective award categories. One after another everybody made a beeline for the confession room. Ravi voted for Amit as the Badtameez Gharwala. Oh, so you still have some problems with Amit, kyon Ravi? Carol, who is supposed to be Roopali's best friend, voted for Roopali for both the categories—Rondumal Gharwala and Chugalkhor Gharwala. She told Bigg Boss that Roopali often gossips about others in the house to her. Bhai yahi hain dosti? Yahi hain pyar?

Amit voted for Ravi as the Baagi Gharwala and Carol for Mehnati Gharwala. For both Chikni Chupdi and Chugalkhor categories he voted for Roopali. Rakhi nominated Roopali as the Jhootha Gharwala; she also wanted to vote for herself in the category. Baba said Ragini had the sweetest smile in the house and nominated her for Pyari Muskaan gharwala. Hmm... does that mean Baba likes Ragini? Bhai abhi to ghar mein aye do din bhi naheen huye hain Baba.

Roopali steals the show and the awards: The stage for the awards’ ceremony was set for the evening. Red carpet, dinner tables, wine glasses and the perfect host Baba Sehgal. Everything was organised with great finesse. All the housemates took their time to dress up for the event. Carol was looking elegant in a beautiful sequined sari. Rahul wore a black satin shirt and trousers and Roopali looked beautiful in a white sari.

Baba went up on stage and began announcing the names of the winners. For Khoobsoorat Gharwala the winner was Ravi. He went up the stage looking proud and excited. The title for Shant Gharwala went to Rahul. Badtameez Gharwala was Amit, who was quite sporty while receiving the award. Jhagralu Gharwala was Carol. Kaamchor Gharwala was Deepak. But the titles for Chaploos Gharwala, Lalchi Gharwala, Rondumal Gharwala, Chugalkhor Gharwala and Jhootha Gharwala went to the one and only Roopali. She took all the titles in good spirit, but became emotional in the end, when Amit went up on stage and spoke for her.

He said that the girl who took care of everybody in the house, made sure everybody had enough food and Tang all the time, had been given the title of Lalchi Gharwala and it was quite shameful. Everybody clapped for Roopali left the stage with tears in her eyes.
